    Lawrence Revard has taught composition, speech, business writing, creative writing, and literature classes at the University of Iowa, Webster University, Lindenwood University, Moberly Area Community College, the University of Missouri in Columbia, and the Trio/Upward Bound program at St. Louis Community College, Forest Park.  He has published poems in Pleiades, New Orleans Review, Prairie Schooner, Raven Chronicles, New Letters, and elsewhere.  His translations of John Milton’s Latin and Italian poems were published in Wiley-Blackwell’s Complete Shorter Poems in 2009.

    College Writing: Place & Perspective

    Place & Perspective is a writing course featuring readings on the subject of our environments, whether social communities, physical spaces, or even virtual realities. We will consider how place-based thinking thrives across academic fields, from design thinking in art to systems science in engineering, from environmental policy in business to ethnographic writing in anthropology, to name a few possibilities.
